Designed-not-disguised throw blanket sofa covers for modern cat households.

Sofahug is a throw blanket sofa cover engineered for modern cat households. The product was developed off of more than 200 documented voice-of-customer interviews across Reddit, Quora, Amazon, and pet parent communities — addressing the most-repeated category failures: covers that look like covers, water-resistance claims that don't hold, and chenille fabrics that catch cat claws.

The brand sits at the intersection of two real customer tensions: the modern apartment-dweller who wants their living room to look intentional, and the cat parent who wants their sofa to survive a real cat. Existing category products treat one or the other; sofahug is built to address both at once.

The product line launches with multiple pattern variants from a single throw-blanket form factor — designed to drape any sofa without measuring, anchor naturally to cover the arms (the highest cat-damage zone), and survive a weekly machine wash and dryer cycle.

Built from 200+ customer interviews.

Sofahug was developed end-to-end using KEVERA's research-first methodology. Before any product spec was written, the team documented more than 200 voice-of-customer quotes from five source platforms (Reddit, Quora, Amazon verified reviews, Facebook pet-parent groups, and Etsy reviews). Seven sub- avatars were validated. Twelve operating insights — including the "cat goes under blanket" failure mode, the "designed-not- disguised" aesthetic gap, and the universal weekly-wash use cadence — shaped the final product brief.
